The nearest railway station is Dalton in Furness. A 20 minute walk from the station will bring you to the park - the walk however is uphill and can be a little heavy going for elderly, wheelchair users or toddlers - we have a special discounted rate with a local taxi firm - listed below who will meet you from the train and arrange to take you back when it's time for home.

For drivers:
South Lakes Wild Animal Park is situated at the southern tip of the Lake District in the North West of England on the A590 trunk road.
Take Junction 36 from the M6 and follow signs for Barrow in Furness, until the brown Elephant Tourist Signs take over.
