Free entry for Seniors
South Lakes Wild Animal Park is saying a big thank you to our loyal senior citizens by giving them free entry for the weekend of Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th September.
Every senior citizen attending will be admitted free of charge and can spend a wonderful day hand feeding giraffes, penguins, kangaroos, lemurs.
With the kids going back to school the older generation can come and take the opportunity to find out what’s new at the animal park - come meet Tupi & Carlos the Giant Otter's watch Jaguars feeding at 2.30pm and with Autumn approaching it is the perfect time to interact with the animals including out free roaming troop of squirrel monkeys and cotton topped tamarins; and enjoy a day exploring the park or enjoying the talks and feeding sessions with Hand feed Giraffes at 11:30 & 3:45; hand feed Penguins at 3pm and Lemurs at 2pm.
A "special menu" of fish, chips & mushy peas will be available in the Maki restaurant or why not bring a picnic and enjoy it on one of the covered areas overlooking the Lemurs, Aviary and Lake.
